The Parka

One piece of outerwear that repeatedly comes to us every year is the Parka. Either as a Jacket or a coat, the parka has been adapted since its original 1970’s version with that bright orange lining.

Designers have widened this initial concept, giving the Khaki version a more military aspect with embellishments and an updated shape. This season the high street has some great parkas to offer including a leopard print nylon from New look, the cropped style jacket from Topshop and have many to chose from.

Prices start from £40 and can range to £70 depending on thickness of the jacket required. It is true that fashion does repeat itself in some way or another but never will we grow tired of such a classic item that we love to wear again and again.
